About Us

Keep Carrollton Beautiful is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating community in Carrollton. We are a Gold Star Affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful and part of the Keep America Beautiful program.
Keep Carrollton Beautiful was founded by a  third generation  Carrolltonite, Sharon Gammon Goddard, in January 2004 as an educational and charitable organization. She, as the executive director, is the only staff person. Go to Our History to see our  accomplishments. We are applying the principles of Keep America Beautiful to educate by changing attitudes about the ownership of litter; to reduce litter and solid waste by educating about the impost of solid waste on the community; to beautify by sustaining the community improvement and development;and to create community by including all citizens in our participation.
It is our intention to:
  • unify the community
  • save money on the City's expenditure for litter cleanup
  • funnel money into Carrollton's community improvement

 Our Mission:

To empower Carrollton to enhance our community environment.
